Residential complex architecture

"Serafimovicha, 2" is eight buildings in the late Soviet constructivist style designed by the great architect Boris Iofan, the creator of the Bauman metro station, pavilions of the USSR at world exhibitions in France, America, and other projects. The building "Serafimovicha, 2" was constructed in 1931 as the "Government House." The monumental structure features a complex silhouette, with multi-story buildings ranging from 9 to 11 stories that form three courtyards.

The complex has a total of 24 entrances facing Serafimovicha Street and Bersenevskaya Embankment, with 505 apartments featuring ceilings of 3.4 meters. Each entrance has 1-2 elevators. The project included luxurious main entrances and separate entrances for staff. The apartments range from 40 to 300 m², with some units retaining original oak parquet flooring and stucco work, created with the involvement of the Hermitage. There are no more than two apartments on each landing. The windows of the first and twelfth entrances overlook the Kremlin. Since 1997, the building has been designated as a historical monument and is protected by the state.
