The residential complex "Nikitsky Boulevard, 12" is a 7-story pre-revolutionary building, constructed in the neoclassical style in 1914 according to the project of architect B.M. Nilus for the employees of the Moscow office of the State Bank. The center of the façade composition along the boulevard features a massive portico topped with an original frieze and cornice. Within the courtyard, which exits onto Kalashny Lane, four additional buildings have been erected, connected by arches to the main building.
In 2018-2019, the house underwent modernization: the façade was restored while preserving its architectural appearance, and renovations were made to the utilities and common areas. The building contains a total of 119 apartments with 3.2-meter ceilings. In some residential units, original stucco work has been preserved.
