Architecture of the Residential complex
The 7-storey brick house was built in 1914 according to an individual project. A major renovation with replacement of engineering networks has been carried out. The façade decoration of the house is enriched with three-sided bay windows and balconies. New elevators and beautiful entrances have been installed.
In 1812, the property of the chief of the Kostroma militia, D.P. Cherevin, was located on the site of the house. At that time, close relatives of Pushkin lived here: his aunt Elizaveta Lvovna Solntseva with her husband Matvei Mikhailovich and two daughters. In 1827, lectures on French poetry were held in this house, which Pushkin attended.
