A house in a prestigious area of London is being put up for sale for 175 million pounds sterling.
The most expensive housing in London belongs, as a rule, to foreigners — Arabs, Asians and Russians. They consider real estate in the British capital as a reliable investment. Houses and apartments worth from 5 million pounds are the cream of the market, their share is only 5% of the total supply. Due to the limited supply, such objects are not often found in direct sale – they are offered to customers "in closed" sale.
So, some of the most expensive houses in Foggy Albion are located in the Kensington area. The average price of lots here is about 2 million pounds. Wealthy celebrities prefer to settle in the areas of Knightsbridge and Chelsea. "Buyers of houses on the "star" streets of London usually do not hide their "new things" from the general public. But, most often, less well-known, but no less wealthy "newcomers" try to avoid publicity," explains Ekaterina Rumyantseva, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kalinka Group.
The mansion in Hyde Park with an area of 5500 sq.m. with 45 bedrooms "came out" for sale in 2017 for 175 million pounds sterling again. Previously, the building belonged to the Prince of Saudi Arabia and the Prime Minister of Lebanon. Two years earlier, its current owner had already tried to sell the mansion for 280 million pounds. A mansion in Hyde Park has become the most expensive private house ever sold in the UK.
