Good design allows aesthetics and functionality to exist in harmony. Therefore, I strive to create comfortable and functional interiors.

I have always been interested in using textiles in interior design, as well as the history of textile design itself. I try to incorporate some antique textiles into the interior finishes, as I enjoy playing with color and texture to create an effortless yet luxurious atmosphere. Textiles go well with parquet and marble. Usually, I start with a neutral palette on white or grey walls, and then create intrigue with vibrant furniture colors.

I always follow my inner sense of style and try not to succumb to the influence of the latest fashion trends. This applies to everything - from jewelry to interior design.

I draw inspiration from the local culture, which is necessary to develop a design that would perfectly suit this particular home. I enjoy working with people from different nationalities and cultures. Collaboration and respect for others' values are important in the creative process. For example, when developing the design for the Turandot Residences club house on Arbat Street (a joint project with exclusive partner Kalinka Real Estate Consulting Group), I was inspired by the historical architecture of luxurious mansions on Arbat and the nearby Vakhtangov Theater. Perhaps that's why our design from Jade Jagger for yoo stands out with grandeur and theatricality.

When developing the design concept for the Turandot Residences club house, we turned to the materials palette of the Aristo style, rooted in European classical tradition. This style is characterized by the extensive use of expensive panel materials that create a sense of comfort in the apartment. To start working with Aristo, we specifically reviewed the works of Jean-Michel Frank (one of the "fathers" of Art Deco, who first started using shagreen, mica, and graphite in interiors, preferred a calm beige palette - Ed.) created by him in Paris in the 1920s, studied city houses that entered England's historical heritage.

The second palette of materials is the Disco style, which involves using luxurious color schemes of neutral, silver, natural, and gold tones. This design concept originated in the 1970s in New York City. We were inspired by the works of Philippe Halsman (one of the most outstanding photographers of the 20th century, created 101 photographs for the cover of Life magazine, etc.), the design of Studio 54 nightclub, and so on, but for Moscow, all of this is suitable in a more indirect and delicate way. I believe that such a design will appeal to discerning buyers.

There is a misconception that only white color can visually expand the room space. If you have a small area, then by manipulating the scale and adding intrigue through interesting color and finishing elements, you can create a sense of greater space.

In one of the projects, The Jade in New York City, we became the authors of an innovative space resembling a lacquered jewelry box. It housed a kitchen, built-in wardrobe, and bathroom – they maximized the space. It looked incredibly impressive! Natural light also plays an important role in expanding the space, so mirrors and reflective surfaces that refract rays of light make the space more open.

Also, I don't like it when a house restricts you in some way, when it feels stuffy and uncomfortable to the point where you become uneasy.

I try to avoid artificial materials that resemble natural ones. As for everything else, I think that the fewer rules in design, the better! Quality interior design should be original and maximally comfortable. "Relaxing and luxurious" are the words that are suitable for its definition.
