It's time to buy real estate.

The First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Igor Shuvalov, advised Russians to hurry up and buy an apartment. According to him, now is the perfect time to buy property because prices for affordable apartments are stable and not increasing.

In the luxury housing segment, the decision to buy or sell is made on an individual basis, depending on personal circumstances and the goal of the transaction. "If the buyer needs to purchase a property today, they unfreeze their ruble savings and buy real estate," says Ekaterina Rumyantseva, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kalinka Group. "Those who planned to buy an apartment or a penthouse do not postpone their decision. Developers offer good financial conditions for purchases, often on an individual basis with the buyer. Today, over 90% of luxury newly-built properties are priced in rubles, with only the highest price segment properties being an exception - deluxe class."

In some of the most successful projects, showcased in Russian currency, the cost per square meter has increased by 10-20% since the beginning of the year. Demand for luxury new buildings is growing in 2016. In April, there were 54 transactions recorded in the primary market for luxury housing, which is 15% more than the same period in 2015 and 10% more than in March.
