Air defense systems shot down two drones over the territories of Mozhaisk and Khimki districts. Another drone crashed into the Moscow City building. Three residents were killed in a drone attack in the Belgorod region.

Three civilians were killed in the second drone attack on a sanatorium in the Belgorod village of Lava in the morning, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said. According to him, the drone dropped an explosive device when people were on the street. Two men died on the spot from their wounds, another died in hospital.

A new, third attack of combat drones on the Russian capital this week and the fourth in a row on the "Moscow City". The Russian Defense Ministry reported that there was an attempt to attack the city with three aircraft-type drones.

Two drones were shot down in the Khimki and Mozhaisk districts, another crashed into a tower in Moscow City. As stated, the drone was suppressed by electronic warfare and, having lost control, "collided with a building under construction." The media reported that the drone crashed into the One Tower.

Business FM spoke with a resident of "Moscow City" - lawyer Alexander Treshchev. According to him, there are already talks in his entourage about moving out of Moscow City:

— Despite the fact that this tower is literally three or four hundred meters from the house where we live, no one woke up and no one heard this explosion. But in the morning there was an opportunity to look at the consequences of this drone, they were, perhaps, the most minimal of all three attempts to attack Moscow City. But, despite this, a large number of mouthguards and journalists gathered and took various photos. The drone hit the jamb, so only one and a half windows are broken. In the house opposite, on the other side of the street, Khrushchev, several glasses fell out there, and, perhaps, probably, this is the quietest day in the City, because there are no investigative actions, nothing inside is blocked, life goes on. The crane repairs the damage. Nevertheless, we see that if the two previous raids were carried out from one side, then this drone came from the other side.

— But this is still the fourth attack, it turns out, do those who live and work in the City have any thoughts, maybe about changing places, because it's alarming?

— It is paradoxical that office workers do not move out of the "City", although first of all blows are inflicted on them, that is, I mean on low floors, because, as a rule, apartments are located above. But this morning we met neighbors who were very scared and said that the children are afraid and they already want to move out. And we know several people who started looking for housing after the first attack. Everyone is asking the question: what should residents do if a fire starts? They tried to do rehearsals even before the drone attacks began, they were going to evacuate residents through helicopters, through ships along the Moskva River, but it didn't end with anything.

The footage from Khimki near Moscow shows that in the microdistrict of Starbeevo, the wreckage of the drone damaged the store, probably one of the parts of the downed UAV is smoking on the ground nearby. The head of the Khimki Dmitry Voloshin said that there were no casualties. A corner of the second floor of a private house collapsed in the city. Also, according to him, several houses, a shop and a hangar with building materials received shrapnel damage.

RIA Novosti wrote that a private house was damaged, the roof partially collapsed and windows were broken. There are no wounded among the population.

The affected One Tower is a temporarily frozen and unbuilt 109—storey residential skyscraper with a height of over 400 meters. It was planned that it would become the tallest building in Moscow and the tallest residential building in Europe. It was planned to put the tower into operation in 2025.

Ekaterina Rumyantseva, realtor, chairman of the Board of Directors of Kalinka Group, told about whether these arrivals will affect the demand for apartments and offices in Moscow City:

— It is obvious that at the moment the demand will fall, the market does not react so quickly, it is still inert. Demand will fall, which will entail a reduction in cost. In fact, the demand for "City" is already small.

- why?

— It seems to me that there is such fatigue from the "City", some disappointment, because not all towers are comfortable and convenient, many towers have difficulties with air conditioning, that is, employees do not feel very well there. Difficulties with parking, even if there is one, the logistics itself takes time. I think there will be a decrease in demand, followed by a decrease in demand there will be a decrease in cost. Although yesterday, to be honest, I received a request for $ 10 million, people's capital is released in a year, and they want, that is, they have real estate in the City, they are satisfied with it, they are happy and want to purchase, consider purchasing new floors in the City.

— Are there people who are talking about moving from Moscow City, from these offices?

— Understanding the market and the behavior of buyers, I think this concerns the most anxious group of the population. The question is how many percent it is, but it is not a critical value, that is, it is definitely not 50%, maybe 10-15% of particularly anxious people. In principle, these are the people who were reduced from the Ruble a year ago.

One of the residents of "Moscow City" posted a video on which he tells about the events of last night and shows the damage on the One Tower under construction:

"The second time we wake up at night. This time around 2:55. I look at the next bedroom window, here everything is just in smoke, and the smoke is rising, but there was not much noise because the windows were closed. And before that, they jumped right off hard when it arrived at Expocentre. It was not visible at night, it is not even clear where it arrived."

The drone shot down over Khimki is the second in a few days, which managed to fly almost to the north of the capital. Last weekend, a downed drone crashed near the village of Putilkovo in the north-west of the Moscow Ring Road. Dmitry Kornev, a military expert and founder of the Military Russia portal, comments on the new directions from which the strike is being launched:

— The fact that the directions are changing and Moscow City is still a target for such attacks suggests that the air defense is working, but new ways of approach, new loopholes are being sought. It is likely that the range reserve of these devices allows you to perform such maneuvers. On one of the frames that were posted in the morning, it can be seen that one of the drones is very similar to a Beaver-type drone, that is, with a high probability it is they who continue the attacks. The task of such drones is not the defeat of a heavily protected target, but strikes on civilian objects and panic and other effects, they are unlikely to be able to damage seriously protected objects. The air defense is still working, it should be noted that two drones were shot down on approach to the capital. Air defense reports that the flight of one drone was disrupted after exposure to electronic suppression systems. This is probably true, perhaps he continued his flight, and his goal was to defeat any building in Moscow City at a certain height horizon, in fact, he crashed into the first building he came across.

— Now it would be fair or not to indicate that some areas of Moscow are less or more susceptible to such situations?

— Logically speaking, then, in theory, from the west, from the southwest, from the south, Moscow should be more covered, because this is the most expected direction of the drone approach. It is clear that the northwest, north, east are more difficult directions in order to organize a drone attack from these directions. But given that there is no shortage of air defense systems, I would probably build a circular defense and taking into account the fact that the enemy will strike from different directions. That is, if we weaken some direction, it is precisely there that all forces should be directed, probably the one who organizes this attack will judge this way. A solid circular defense of the capital against any attacks would be reliable.

This is the fourth blow to Moscow City. The first two times, on July 30 and August 1, drones flew to the Federation Tower, where the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development are located. On August 18, the wreckage of the downed drone fell on the territory of the Expocentre near the skyscrapers.
