An elite mansion in the Moscow region has been put up for sale for bitcoins. The announcement about the sale of the mansion for cryptocurrency appeared in one of the real estate databases. The house is located in the village of Nikolino in the western part of Moscow region, according to "Kommersant" newspaper.
The owner, whose name is not disclosed, wants to receive 3,000 bitcoins, or 482 million rubles ($6.5 million), for his mansion. A realtor from Kalinka Group company told the media that the person who answered the phone number listed in the announcement said that the exact mechanism of the deal has not been determined yet.
According to representatives of the real estate agency, if a buyer is found for the mansion before cryptocurrency is legalized in Russia, the seller will be advised to sell the house for Russian currency. Earlier, the Minsk service center Apple cafeConnect, which sells gadgets and provides repair services for them, started accepting payments in cryptocurrencies. Meanwhile, in Kazakhstan, the owner of a sports car put his Porsche 911 Turbo up for sale, mentioning that he is willing to exchange it for bitcoin or Ethereum, or even for a mining farm.
