World's First 3D-Printed Mosque to Be Built in Dubai
Dubai continues to lead the way in construction technology. The emirate has begun building its first-ever mosque, entirely 3D-printed, in the Bur Said area (Deira). This innovative project sets a new benchmark in combining architectural tradition with engineering progress.
The future mosque will span 2,000 square meters and accommodate up to 600 worshippers. The main structure will be printed in just four months, with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
The entire process will be carried out by just three workers using a single industrial printer, significantly reducing labor costs and construction time without compromising quality. A specialized concrete mixture, adapted for 3D printing, will serve as the primary building material. The first 3D-printed mosque is not just an engineering milestone but also a major step toward sustainable, technologically advanced construction.
